One of the very few books on dummy boards (or picture boards, fireboards, door porters, and silent companions, as they have also been called).. By no means commonplace, they are among the most attractive of all decorative antiques, combining as they do the arts of the furniture-maker and painter. Stiff card covers in dw, very nice copy.
